The reversible option is another great feature, as it allows you to switch the direction in which the child’s face is. 4. Thule Shine
Thule is a brand that’s well-known for its stylish and practical products, and the Shine stroller is no different. It’s among the lightest prams on the market and feels sturdy and robust in your hands despite its minimal design. It’s also extremely versatile, with the capability to be used right from birth thanks to the included accessories that transform it into a bassinet, Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest as well as a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories are sold separately).
In contrast to other lightweight strollers like the Shine doesn’t let you down when it comes to cargo storage, either. Its 22-pound capacity allows you to carry everything you require for a trip without feeling as if you need to leave anything behind.
The wheels are easy to attach to the frame. They clip on straight from the box. The bassinet is also easy to put together and has handles similar to those found on the Moses basket. When you’re done, the pram folds down to a neat and compact size that you can fit it in the smallest car.
Thule’s canopy air purifier is an excellent feature. It comes with an air filter that eliminates dust, bacteria, viruses pollen, and other unpleasant things. Thule claims that it can clean up 150 liters of air every minute, and it can be connected to an app that displays the quality of your air in your area.
The only downside is the price – although it’s less expensive than other buggy 2 in 1 in 1 prams, it still costs over PS1,000 for the complete kit. This is especially difficult to accept when there are other options like the Thule Spring that is smaller and lighter and costs half as much.
The durability of Thule’s strollers is legendary and I’ve seen them tested at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. They drop prams from heights and then crash them down slopes, then ride them across bumpy trails in the snow to test their performance and durability. They look amazing!
