A ladder that is able to be rotated and a desk with wheels that slide between the two, and three drawer cabinets and chest are all included. It’s important to note that many midi loft beds that have desks require a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This isn’t included in the price of the bed, therefore we recommend looking at our fantastic mattress deals to find one that is within your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for extra security. Some models come with the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleeping overs, or for adding more storage space beneath the bed. These can either be open or equipped with doors (please see the product details for full information).
Many midi cabins come with desks that can be moved from one level to the next, or chests. This gives children a bespoke space to store all their belongings, and there’s no need to use up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.
Some models have gone one step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
