WoW Upgrades – The Item Upgrader
Upgrades can give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random additional substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.
Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc’s shield) or very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren’t as important for the latter due to the need to roll a perfect version.

However, the item used for the upgrade items will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.
The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item upgrading will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are functional items which can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They can be bought by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which displays a preview of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.
The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current item Upgrader kit level and the weapon’s price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Crests
