World of Warcraft – Item Upgrade

These upgrades can be used to boost a variety of purposes such as to increase the overall strength of a group or individual unit. They also can be a significant influence on gameplay.
Items can be upgraded by any item upgrader NPC in the game. Typically, these NPCs are located in major cities or questing spots. Players can also find upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses, and by talking to NPCs in their faction’s garrisons.
The upgrade system for items in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the level of weapons, armor, and trinkets. This process is largely identical to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the currency appropriate to the task players need to visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.
Item upgrades can be costly, particularly when it is related to armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade track you select, each item upgrade can cost Crests or Valorstones. The costs are prohibitive for those who don’t have the money or are unable to grind.
Fortunately, the game lets players roll an upgraded item using an exclusive tool within the items menu. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item for the version at level 1 which comes with a different set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better rolls on items that are already upgraded. However, it can be a waste of time.
Requirements

Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item which has been upgraded. The new item comes with a different set of extra bonuses, and a lower level for the item. The rerolled item also has different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to keep in mind that the rerolled item does not keep its original strength or even a fraction of its resource.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was an Epic, Rare, or Unique. Extraordinary items can also be allowed to be rerolled, but their original stats will be replaced with a flat bonus. Rerolling an item that is Rare or Epic item will produce a Normal version, and rolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.
A newly upgraded item could come with additional modifiers, which can increase the stats of the item and boost its performance. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade cost. You can buy them at the Trading Post, or through other players. They can also be earned by fulfilling specific missions in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armoror Boboko located in Central Flarine. Based on the type of item, you’ll need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants and Dice 12 is droppable from Bosses). Additionally, you will require different amounts of Minerals and Erons.
Time is an important factor.
Upgrades to items can be used to improve the stats of your ship and gear without having to level them. Upgrades aren’t cheap but they can be an effective way to increase your stats without having to spend as much time in battle. It is important to understand the cost and benefits prior to making the investment of time or money.
Each upgrade boosts the item’s base stat a certain amount and gives a chance to get an additional substat. The extra substat is random, and can vary from a small increase in one stat to a much greater increase in another. It is best to concentrate on the most effective items in the slot first, since they will provide a greater return on your investment.
You can check the time it takes to complete an upgrade items by opening your inventory and selecting an item such as a ship, weapon or other accessory. It is also possible to recover any or all upgrade items components from an item by using a specific high-end salvage kit that is sold by Black Lion Salvage and Ascended Salvage. Rewards

Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. Certain upgrade components can be equipped with additional cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade components by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining an incentive. Additionally players can find upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor or by salvaging them using a top-quality salvage kit. Glyphs that are positioned on tools for gathering are able to be swapped.
By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has a rerolling arrow players can reroll it into another upgradeable item. This will alter the layout of the game and allow players to select up to six items to be used for “recycling”. The item will be replaced with an item of level 1.
