Claire found the pram easy to maneuver on various terrains and in tight spaces such as narrow aisles in shops. The swivel wheel helped her steer the pram with precision. Furthermore, its compact folding size makes it easy to store it at home. The air-filled tires are large enough to provide an enjoyable ride and can also handle off-road surfaces. The hood is easily lower to the infant’s feet to shield the sun or for an engrossing nap.

Another feature that is great is the reversible seating unit that lets you change the direction your child is facing. The reclining seat provides head and back support which means your child can relax in their carrycot or seat. Claire also loved the spacious shopping basket which is accessible from the seat or carrycot unit in all positions and can hold a whole packet of nappies and a change bag!

The Xplory X is a top pram from Stokke and is suitable from birth. It includes a frame, a pushchair and a carrycot that can be set flat. Thule is a brand well-known for its stylish and practical products and the Shine stroller is no different. It is one of the lightest strollers 2 in 1 available on the market, and it feels sturdy and solid to hold despite its simple design. It’s also extremely versatile with the capability to be used from birth due to the accessories included that transform it into a bassinet Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest as well as a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories are sold separately).

It’s also easy to put together with the back wheels being attached to the main frame straight out of the box. The bassinet is also simple to attach and has handles similar to those found on a Moses basket. When you’re done the pram folds to a neat and compact size, allowing you to fit it in the smallest of cars.

Thule’s canopy air purifier is also an excellent feature. It comes with an air filter that gets rid of dust, bacteria, viruses, pollen and other nasty things. Thule claims that it can clean 150 litres per minute of air and can be connected to an app that displays the air quality in the area.

The only downside is the price. Even though it’s less expensive than other 2 in 1 prams, it still costs over PS1,000 for the complete kit. It’s a bit difficult to swallow when there are alternatives like the Thule Spring, which is lighter and smaller and costs half the price.

Thule’s strollers are famous for their durability and I’ve seen them go through the test of the wringer at the Thule Hillerstop HQ in Sweden. They drop prams from high places and then slam them down slopes, then run them over bumpy trails in the snow to test their performance and strength. They look fantastic!
