World of Warcraft – Item Upgrading
item Upgrading, Jisuzm.com, allows players to increase an item’s gear score up to 700, and then add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading because of their distinctive stats. (For example the perfect roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don’t change much after an upgrade and aren’t worth the effort.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a single unit. In certain instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain by itself.
The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and current level. For example an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is usually a good thing, but it can also have negative effects. Upgrades can render items unusable, unless you are extremely lucky.
Upgrades can be made to armor items to increase their effectiveness. This can increase the base defense of a chest or helm while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may reroll down to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will get when upgraded and their relative values. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However, the 3% doesn’t mean that it will strike 3 times less often because it’s an absolute statistic.
Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button in the item menu, using the circling arrows. This will roll an item and alter its stats, but not reset the weapon’s levels or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few upgrades to your armor can make all the difference to your survival. Certain sets can offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This makes it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the more health you will get from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and in order to unlock each fountain, you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you’ve completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain that corresponds you’ll be able to speak to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.
The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade the next one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a good-sized group of adversaries in most cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to survive an entire raid with a handful of friends.
It isn’t possible to upgrade armor the same as weapons. If you’re playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or the power of spells. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing by the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
You can also get some perks for your armor by giving the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally speaking, you’ll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you’ll be using to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have some upgrades of the chest armor and helmets to let you stealthy battle certain monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, provide a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. In addition the effects of certain potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust to them.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount XP. This can be obtained by making them on a table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion and the item’s rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potions, right-click it in your inventory. Then, select “upgrade item” from the menu. This will open an GUI where you can choose the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they’ll give you when upgraded. The upgrade of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they earn will be added to your current XP total.
Once a potion is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate in the event that you take it out again or break the bottle in the container it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change the name of the potion.
There were a few updates to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. For instance splash potions now have the duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item upgrader kit). The table for potion is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can’t be used in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron, it drains the liquid and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions, which are made with splash and dragon breath potions. Similar to lingering potions, the can be enhanced by adding redstone. The table of potions is organized more closely to the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as potion of leaping, decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or decoration that serves a purpose, but is not particularly significant, such as a thimble. In some traditions, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, specifically between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets unlike other items that can be upgraded can be exchanged at any time without losing stats.
The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrades are a cheaper alternative to buying a brand new trinket. It can be done by players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the older one, and have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.
Trinkets can be upgraded once they are no longer needed and allows players to increase their power and worth over time. They can also be traded between players and are an extremely popular alternative to gold.
In general, players should upgrade their top-priority items first. This means that the best-in slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment they will not replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding on the items to upgrade, players must also take into account the class’s preferred stats. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player then they should consider upgrading their helm, chest and shoulders.
Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they no longer have value and the new trinket will receive an additional upgrade bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying new ones.
